data hub

signage & way-finding design

The Data Technology Hub in Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate is a pilot project on smart office space for technology companies in the area.

Integrating with the interior designer’s theme on “Urban Home” and the architect’s building concept as a modern data hub, we translated the idea of “data transmission” on our signage design with a series of pictogram & numbering by using gaps and lines. Super large floor number at lift lobby carved in the fair-faced concrete wall. The rawness of carving & concrete intermingled with the sharpness of metal.

The carpark is an elongated underground space. Our design concept is to lead the cars into a black tunnel and gradually drive towards a lighted space at the end when they reach the elevator towards upper floors.

We split the carpark into a dark zone and a light zone to help visitors differentiate their orientation after parking their cars. The monotone of colours resemble the clarity of data transmission.
