Spatial Design

Hospital Authority Supporting Service Centre (HASSC), located at Tung Chung, is an industrial building containing centralised large scale laundry machines and preparatory equipment that support the hospital system in Hong Kong, is under construction. With more than 100 employees working in this 6 storeys building day and night, we are engaged to design all staff welfare areas, including pantry, resting area, balcony, multi-function room and staff rooms, to enhance their working experience. The inspiration was drawn from the hiking trail of Lantau Island, which can be viewed from the staff balcony and resting area of the building, to extend an green and relaxing trail at a industrial working environment.
