Dragages Hong Kong Headquarters
Spatial Design
Fusion Space - Revitalizing Workspace for Modern Mind
The original form of the space was a commercial Co-working hub. We were tasked to transform it into a 200-employees office for an international construction corporate Dragages Hong Kong
During site visit, we were captivated by the original features of the co-working space, rather than taking them down, it was decided to freshen up the space while still preserving the original features, like the wooden floor and open bar. Our challenge was to bridge the retained features with client’s branding and create new spatial planning that can promote employee’s wellbeing.
The retained furniture were upgraded with new fabric, re-polished and new lighting was introduced. The essence of brand colour (blue and orange) and logo geometry (the oval shape) were blended into furniture and wall details, giving the new headquarters a familiar vibe yet a fresher look that revitalizes the working culture.
We stripped down original glass partition walls and reformed the entire floor to a fluid open plan with effective zoning. Exposed ceiling that allows natural light to penetrate the core of office, with the intention to promote user’s wellbeing and comfort, connecting people in an open manner.
